The Story Of That Girl

I’m going to write a short story here just for fun, and just for entertainment. Cheers to letting some imagination take affect. And of course, lol, this couldn’t be true :-)

There once was a girl who entered one the most profitable sectors in Wall Street, Energy. All of the big boys are apart of it. They have been profiting big time as gas prices has hit an all time high. Even the most high leaders in government are joined in for inevitable gains at the expense of the people.

However, that girl is hated by the most leaders in power. For some reason she’s destined for something great. In a failed attempt to stop destiny, they’ve dropped the gas price to send energy stocks downward hoping that girl would bail out.

HCFE, Now HCFI With A Reverse Split - Healthy Coffee International

Healthy Coffee International, Inc. has recently changed its stock symbol from HCFE to HCFI. The company, headed by CEO Rick Aguiluz, has also announced a Reverse Stock Split of 1 share for each 10,000 shares held. The split will raise the stock price from $0.0001 to $1.00. For me this means I’d be holding 1 hundred shares instead of the original 1 million. The terms of the split will require all shareholders to turn in a physical certificate in order to receive their new shares.

The new company is currently in a fund raising phase for the official pre-launch of the international marketing campaign in June, 2008 and launch of its new products in Japan, Philippines, Colombia, China, Chile, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia and Romania.

The companie’s restructuring and new stock trading symbol comes as a indication its moving out of the developmental stage and into marketing and expansion mode to better serve current and new shareholders that would like to buy the HCFI stock.

How to Cancel the FreeCreditReport.com Triple Advantage Membership

I saw a $14.95 charge to my account with the following description, CIC*CE CREDIT REPORT 800-3888725 CA, and I new it was related to the free credit report I requested last month.

Millions of people have inquired about the un-wanted charges, and I found this out from reading articles from like this, this, this, and that. But if you check out Experian’s FAQs, you’ll know that canceling your membership to prevent future charges is as simple as making a phone call…

If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can cancel anytime to discontinue your membership to Triple Advantage Credit Monitoring and stop the monthly billing. However, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of your current month’s paid membership fee. To cancel, please contact Customer Care at
1-888-829-6560.

What Is A Reverse Split?

As a new investor, I did some research so I could know what a reverse split is. According to Investopedia its, “A reduction in the number of a corporation’s shares outstanding that increases the par value of its stock or its earnings per share.”

As bad as it may sound, it doesn’t harm an investor’s overall value in the stock. As the number of shares increase, the price per share increases. For example, a 1-for-3 reverse split means you get a third as many shares, but at thrice the price.

Most companies consider a reverse split to prevent from being delisted on the NYSE or NASDAQ for not meeting the minimum trading requirement of $1 per share. Currently Thornburg Mortgate is planning a reverse split without investor’s approvals, while Memory Pharmaceuticals urges its investors to okay a reverse stock split.

Some investors feel that its good to buy into a company around the time of a reverse split because the trade price is so low, especially while Memory Pharmaceuticals (MEMY) is aiming for breakthroughs for its drugs that are currently used for neurological diseases associated with aging, such as Alzheimer’s disease.
