The Lending Club sent me an email telling me that my account was ready for investing and gave the following information on how to fund the account…
You’re now a registered investor of Lending Club. You’ve made a smart choice. The next step is adding funds to your Lending Club account.
You can choose from these four ways to fund your account. Go now to Add Funds to Your Account
Wire Transfer is the fastest way and takes just 1 business day. We do not charge fees for incoming wires and will cover your bank costs.
Electronic Transfer (ACH) allows you to move money easily between your bank and your Lending Club account at no cost. ACH usually takes 3-4 business days.
Mail a Check to fund your account.
PayPal can also fund an initial investment up to $5,000.
I chose to link my 0.95% APY Savings Account. No mins, and No fees @ E*TRADE Bank for the ACH Deposit or electronic transfer. However, I couldn’t stand the 3 day wait, so I linked in with paypal as well to start right away. I’m very happy about this new endeavor. I look forward to sharing more.
