Beauchamp Mystery Shop Scams
I beseech you to please be careful when looking for ways to make extra money...
I found out about this particular scam by answering a Craiglist ad entitled,
"Free Dinner With Friends&Family (PA,Newtown Square E.T.C) " .
I got a response from this RaymondBeauchampRecruitment@live.com email address asking for my address, age, and phone numbers.
Then I received the following message...
Hello Latina Renee,
Goodmorning to you and how are you doing?This is to inform you that the application form details you submitted as one of our secret shoppers has been approved and this is also a notification to you that your first assignment arriving via UPS COURIER starts tomorrow(Monday).Your application/resume was forwarded to the accounting dept to issue your payment to carry out your shopping/dinner evaluation tasks.It has just been confirmed that some payment has been issued out and dispatched to you for your first mystery dinner assignment.The content in the package includes your first payment assignment salary($100) and dinner money($100) from the total of the funds which you will use in executing this assignment tomorrow.FYI Its not compulsory you spend all your allocated money of $100 to dine so you can dine with one person and not neccessarily friends or families.Please take note that your total funds from each package is $200 except we increase the amount ourselves .We will be paying you per package received via UPS and you should be expecting btw 3-4 packages in a week i.e $800-$1000.Read below for you Packet Data.
ASSIGNMENT INFORMATIONS :
Read and make sure you understand all that is stated below to avoid any mistake occurrence during your dine/shopping evaluation tasks tomorrow.The package arriving tomorrow via UPS is enclosed with US Money Orders in 2 pieces in denomination of $890=$1780 made out in your name,cashable at your bank and this includes your salary/dine of $200 and the remainder of $1580 is to carry out your evaluation survey.Instructions and Information needed to complete your assignment tomorrow after delivery will be email to you first thing Monday morning before the payment arrives so stanby your email on Monday.
Kindly get back to us via email immediately you read this email so we can make preparation to provide the ups tracking information to you ahead of delivery tomorrow morning.Hope to read from you again and we believe you will enjoy doing this job with us.PLEASE PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER INCASE WE WANT TO GIVE YOU A CALL.Thank you and bye for now.

When I looked up Raymond Beauchamp on a simple google search it pulled up a deceased U.S soldier.
Whatever the case may be, it spells s-c-a-m to me.
