Book Review, by Ms. Latina Renee
I was watching one of the Potter's House broadcast where Bishop T.D. Jakes was sharing the good news of his book and teaching on the subject "Junk In the Trunk".
Amazed by the wisdom and knowledge that flowed from the points and arguments of his teaching, I thought this is something I could spin on one of my websites.
However, let me be clear. I am not a full blown T.D. Jakes follower. There are plenty of times when I turned the channel on him. Especially when he was spreading a "Let Go" message that I wouldn't eat. But then came the talk about "Faith Food" so I should have known it was coming...
Just to see what was what, I priced Bishop Jakes' "Before You Do" book and made a rough estimate that it would cost me around $20 with shipping and handling. We'll there are plenty of other things I need to spend twenties on, so I dismissed the idea.
The Lord had me witness a testimony in that same day on how He provides finance for what He wants you to do. We'll the very next day I was offered $20 to set up a website. I did the same type set ups for more than double in the past. I would have surely denied the low offer as usual...
... But I accepted it anyway as a big yes to God, because I knew that it was Him providing for what He wanted me to do.
