Book Review, by Ms. Latina Renee
I'm quitting the paid shopping, while taking a break from differing, and writing tutorials to read another "Before You Do" chapter. I'm up to the "Before You Decide to Love" peice.
Before I even think about deciding to loving, I need to concentrate on decided if I like. There are so many things going on in this evil day, that I am having the hard time of liking people, or should I say, liking anything. But this is not about me, so here's a quick (I have to paint my finger nails) focus on the chapter.
Bishop T. D. Jakes brings forth the fact that people are less prone to fall in love when they are older. Well, this is so true for me, and you I bet.
He points out that we should learn from past relationships. Not so much as too what you're mate did wrong, but what you did wrong. I couldn't agree more. Learning from our own personal mistakes will make us better persons.
"What is real intimacy" is the question that comes to mind while reading through these pages. Can we conclude that society has lost a definition as this book reminds us about sex addicts, the divorce rate, and the large number of single ladies? Catch Bishop T. D. Jakes in short on this A Sermon On Manipulation video that ministers to single women.
The book promotes abstinence until one marries as well as some other good points like the tenth coin on page 105. Its not a bad idea after my nine back fight.
